Capacity Plus Group are currently seeking casual Disability Support Workers to join our team.

Pay level - $35.98 - $41 per hour

Skills and Experience

Experience in the disability sector is by no means essential but is preferred. Basically, if you possess the right attributes and a can-do attitude along with a willingness to grow with us, we want you on board

Mandatory Requirements

  • NDIS Worker check (can be obtained after application)
  • WWC Check (can be obtained after application)
  • First Aid (can be obtained after application)
  • Reliable transport (willing to use for work)
  • Comprehensively insured car
  • Mobile Phone
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates
  • NSW drivers’ licence
  • NDIS Worker check (can be obtained after application)
  • WWC Check (can be obtained after application)
  • First Aid (can be obtained after application)
  • NSW drivers’ licence

Desirable Requirements

  • Certificate ll/III/IV in Disability or Individual Support
  • Previous experience in a similar role, providing support to people with disabilities

Role Overview

  • Commit to regular and consistent shift schedules
  • Support individuals with physical, cognitive, sensory and social/emotional disabilities
  • Show initiative and be creative and resourceful in assisting participants to achieve their goals
  • Follow ongoing risk assessment procedures and management plans provided by management
  • Keep accurate and up to date client records using Capacity Plus Group’s App based management platform
  • Commit to regular and consistent shift schedules

  • Show initiative and be creative and resourceful in assisting participants to achieve their goals
